LSST FAMILY & SPONSORSHIP INCENTIVE PROGRAM
Lone Star Swim Team is committed to the families that help sponsor and support the team financially. Lone Star Swim Team will offer a credit of 10% of the sponsorship monies brought in by the current LSST member account to be posted against the next month’s dues. Lone Star Swim Team is a year-round competitive swim club offering high-quality, professional coaching and technique instruction for children ages 3-18 of all ability levels. The goal of our program is to provide each swimmer with the opportunity to improve their swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level.
In addition to our main team location in the Cy-Fair area, we have an Aldine location that serves approximately forty swimmers. Many of these athletes come from an underserved area, with challenging socioeconomic issues. The majority of them are offered a reduced rate for monthly dues, waived registration fees, or charged nothing at all by utilizing our scholarship program. It is truly an honor for our team to be active in the Aldine community, helping to bring competitive swimming to an area with very few options in this space.
We have over 150 athletes participating in our programs, and as you might imagine, it takes a lot of volunteer and financial support to facilitate our success. We have a near 100% participation rate in regards to volunteer work undertaken by the parents and families of our athletes. Annual registration fees and monthly dues are charged however; these fees alone do not cover all the team’s expenses.
All of the financial assistance received from sponsors or donors goes directly to the team and is used for USA Swimming meet entry fees, practice and training equipment, travel and team expenses, etc.
