Punahou "Sponsored" trips

Some PAQ trips for Academy students are considered "Sponsored" trips. This means the team travels together to and from the mainland, and the club coaching staff serves as drivers and chaperones. Flights and lodging are booked through Panda Travel. We can add frequent flyer numbers, but we cannot have deviations from the group itinerary. The cost of entry fees and coaches travel is spread out amongst the team and added to the total of each athlete's travel fee (flight, shared lodging, shared van rental). That price is not to exceed $200 total. Money for meals and snacks is included in the trip cost - athletes receive cash for meals and coaches/admin will purchase snacks for the team. 

Punahou "Supported" trips

This trip falls under Extended Learning, and is considered Punahou "Supported" travel. This means that each athlete travels and lodges with a parent/guardian. Making the trip without a parent/guardian is not allowed. Families are responsible for ground transportation. Coaches meet the team at practice/competition sites and are responsible for the group for that specific time at the competition site only. Coaches travel cost is split amongst the families going and not to exceed $200.
