Fees and Information for Fall 2025

Downtown YMCA:  NEW TIMES!

*Barracudas $100 ~ M/W 5:30-6pm or 6:45-7:15pm and T/TH 6:30-7pm 

*Purple  $115 ~ M/W 6-6:45pm & T/TH 6:45-7:30pm

*Orange  $125  ~ M-TH 6:30-7:30pm  & M/W 5:30-6:30pm 

BSU REC CENTER:

*Bronze  $145 ~ M-TH 5:45-7pm at BSU for the Fall! 

Requirement for an evaluation to join BSC:

Swimmers ages 6 and up are welcome to join Boise Swim Club.  Swimmers will be evaluated on an individual basis prior to joining.  Swimmers must be able to swim 50 yards of freestyle and backstroke without stopping along with being able to breathe to the side in freestyle.  They must also be able to perform the basics of butterfly and breastroke. 

Additional Fees:

*Hold fee of $40/month to save spot on roster (3 months/year limit) 

*USA Swimming Registration fee $80/year  OR

New Flex USA Swimming Registration fee $40/year (2 meets only and excludes Championship meets) 
(Only for 12 & under swimmers.)  

*Travel Fees - will depend on meet expenses outside the Boise area.   Fees for regional and national meets will also vary.   

Fundraising requirements for 2025-2026 season (September-August):

Barracudas - $225

Purple, Orange - $400

Bronze - $450

Fundraising options: (Lap a Thon, monthly or buyout) 

Swimmers can choose from the following options:

*Lap a Thon -  Fall 2025 with date TBA (any amount not raised can be moved to monthly)  

*Buyout and prorated if you join throughout the year

*Monthly payment of $20-$45 depending on the group 

Volunteer requirements:

Each family is required to volunteer 5 hours every 6 months. (Sept-Feb and March-August). Any hours not met will be billed $25/hour.  BSC has many opportunities for volunteering outside of swim meets.  

Equipment
All swimmers are encouraged to have a competitive swimsuit along with a cap, water bottle, and fins.

BSC participates in swim meets and we encourage each swimmer to compete.
