Nathaniel Bohrer Director/Head Coach

Nathaniel has been involved in aquatics since 2016, beginning as a lifeguard for the City of Elgin. Over the years, he transitioned into management before briefly leaving in 2022 to work with Specialized Bikes. In the spring of 2024, he returned as an Aquatic Supervisor, taking over leadership of ECST from Steve Gard. Nathaniel swam competitively for one season in high school and continues to enjoy the sport casually for fitness, while maintaining a passion for both the sport and its competitive aspects. He is eager to nurture the growth of the team and explore the potential of the Elgin Cyclones. As of August 2025, he is currently serving additionally as the head coach of the team. 

Jayden Trevino Bronze/Gold Group Coach

Jayden competed for three years on the Elgin High School swim team, serving as co-captain for two of those seasons. In addition to his time as an athlete, he has spent four years working as a swim lesson instructor and as a certified lifeguard, experiences that strengthened his leadership and water safety skills. Jayden is now continuing his education at Aurora University, where he is pursuing a Nursing degree with the goal of serving others through a career in healthcare.

Cindy Kracen Pre-Team Coach
 

Cindy has been swimming competitively since she was 8 and has spent over 20 years with the Elgin Blue Wave Masters Swim Team, becoming an All-American and a Top Ten master record holder with USMS. She and her husband met while swimming with the Blue Wave team, where they have practiced together for years, supporting each other at every turn. Cindy loves traveling the world and finding pools wherever she goes, with memorable adventures including climbing Kilimanjaro and riding the Ghan train across Australia. Her family—husband, children, and grandchildren—brings her the greatest joy.
