In an effort to protect athletes while participating in swimming, USA Swimming with the help of the U.S. Center for Safe Sport has developed some new policies for all member clubs.  While most details of the policy are for USA Swimming Members and USA Swimming Non-Athlete Members, there are aspects of it that effect 'Adult Participants ' which includes various meet personnel who have contact with athletes.  The Safe Sport Coordinator for the Aqua Force Swim Team is Jessica Ziegler ([email protected]).

To ensure all volunteer positions that require acknowledgement of the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP) are met, Aqua Force will require all adults volunteering at meets to acknowledge that they have reviewed and agreed to it.  Acknowledgement forms will be on team file cabinet in the pool hallway.  The FVFY MAAPP policy will need to be read and acknowledgement form submitted before volunteering at meets.  Thanks for all your support!!!
