2021-2024 USA SWIMMING AGE GROUP STANDARDS
USA Swimming age group time standards are designed to encourage age group swimmers to step their swimming up to the next level. These time standards guide you from just starting out in your age group to reaching your highest potential. Start at Level B and work your way up to Level AAAA times.
ILLINOIS SWIMMING AGE GROUP TIME STANDARDS
Illinois Swimming age group time standards are qualifying times for the Regional (REG) and State (CHAMP) Meets. These take place in February of the Winter Season and July of the Summer Season.
What's the difference between long course (LCM) and short course (SCY)?
Long Course and Short Course refer to the length of competition pool used during that part of the year. In the United States, the primary course used in the fall and winter is a 25-yard pool. In the spring and summer months, we use the international standard distance of 50-meters for competition. We refer to Long and Short Course to differentiate between the two.
