Coaches and Directors
Coach O'Toole began her swimming career in the Evergreen Park area and later swam at Evergreen Park High School where she was an IHSA State Qualifier. She continued her swimming career at Eastern Illinois University.
Coach O'Toole began her coaching career at Brother Rice High School and was the head coach of the Rice Aquatic Foundation (RAF). In 2004 she joined the Richards Area Swim Club (RASC) where she is currently the Head Co-Coach .
Coach O'Toole is a proud member of USA Swimming and holds the following credentials: First Aid, CPR, Safety Training for Swim Coaches, and is an ASCA Level 1 Certified Coach.
During her 20 years of coaching she has coached all levels of swimmers from novice to nationally ranked swimmers. She has also produced many ISI State Champions over the years.
Taryn begin swimming at the age of 8 at
Richard’s Area Swim Club, and she continued swimming through
high school here at Richards.
Upon entering Eastern Illinois University she continued her competitive swimming career during all four years at college.
Taryn was the swimming coach for five years at Thornton Fractional South High School for both the boys and girls seasons.
Taryn continues to coach here at RASC right where she started her swimming career.
Carlie swam at Richards School for four years. She lifeguard for three years. She graduated from Eastern Illinois in Elementary Education.
