Team Suit
The fit of a team suit is different than a practice or recreational suit. The swimmers are encouraged to wear a more relaxed suit to practice. This helps to create a drag resulting in the swimmer working harder at practice. The fit of the practice suit should offer adequate coverage and be comfortable.
The purpose of the team competition suit is to allow the swimmer to move quickly and efficiently through the water. The suit should fit like a second skin but allow the swimmer to move and preform the necessary strokes. The fit is snug with out any excessive folds or gapping which allows for the pooling of water in the suit.
