Welcome to the official site of Bright Stars Athletics
Bright Stars Tumbling and Cheerleading Center was founded in 2000 in a small town of Bright, Indiana by Nancy Wernke and her family, driven by a shared dream and passion for the sport. Today, that dream continues to shine under the leadership of her daughter, Kelsey, who took over the program in 2013. Kelsey now serves as the Gym Owner, Program Director, and head coach.
Over the years, Bright Stars has become more than just a gym - it's been a second homes to hundreds of talented athletes. With numerous titles under our belt, our legacy of excellence continues to grow.
Located in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Bright Stars proudly serves a wide region. Our athletes come from school districts all across the area. No matter where they're from, every athlete who walks through our doors becomespart of the Bright Stars family.
Kelsey finds joy in coaching young athletes and watching her two daughters follow in her footsteps. Her hope is that one day, they too will carry on the legacy - as coaches and maybe even gym owners themselves.

Our mission here at Bright Stars Athletics is not only to develop winnin athletes, but also to nuture confidence, leadership, dedication, a strong work ethic, and team-building skills. We strive to instill these values not just within our program, but to empower every child to suceed in all areas of life.
