Matt Elliott - Head Coach and BHS Coach
I am the Head Coach of BBSC and Brownsburg High School. I have a wonderful wife Kristin, who was a fantastic swimmer and coach as well. We also have 3 boys together, Myles and twins Cooper and Caleb.
I grew up in Peoria, Illinois and swam for the Peoria Area Water Wizards (PAWW). I was a late bloomer in swimming, and didn't qualify for my first state meet individually until I was 12. Once I got the hang of things, I was able to win a few high school and Junior National championships. Swimming help me see the world as I was fortunate enough to travel with Team USA and swim at the University of Florida. I love the sport of swimming because I love being in the water. I love working hard, and I most of all love breaking barriers.

Don Cozad - Head Age Group Coach and Lead Gold Group Coach
Coach Don joins us from Zionsville Swim Club where he was the Head Age Group Coach for the last 10 years. Coach Don has an extensive coaching background, spanning over 30 plus years. Coach Don has helped Zionsville Swim Club grow to a Bronze medal club and then to a Silver medal club. He has been the head coach of Team Indiana at the Zone Meet multiple times. He was the Indiana Swimming Age Group Coach of the Year in 2018. Most recently he helped lead Zionsville to a fourth place finish at the Age Group State Meet.

Zane Bousum - Lead Silver Group Coach
I have been coaching at BBSC since 2016. My wife, Rachel and I pastor Spirit of Life Church on the west side of Indianapolis. All 3 of our children Josiah, Audrey and Michaela have swam for BBSC. I believe all swimmers have an opportunity to be the best swimmer he or she can be through committment, hard work, and a good attitude.

Michael Young - Assistant Senior Group and Assistant Gold/Silver Group Coach
As a parent of one of the swimmers and a former collegiate swimmer and high school coach himself, Michael is hoping to add to the coaching staff and help BBSC grow strong. Michael began swimming at age nine with his local summer and recreation teams in Bremen Indiana. As he grew Michael joined the Michiana Marlins Swim Club and at Bremen High School he became the school's second ever IHSAA State Qualifier. After high school Michael swam collegiately at Butler where he was a conference finalist. Michael graduated Butler University in 1999 with a degree in Finance. After finishing college swimming, Michael coached one year as an assistant at Zionsville Swim Club and worked with beginning swimmers. Michael then joined the Brownsburg High School coaching staff and spent one year as Boys' & Girls' assistant coach and then one year (2001-02) as Boys' Head Coach. During that time Michael also coached the Senior group at Swim Indy (precursor to BBSC). Michael left the coaching ranks in 2002 to pursue advancement in business by attending full time graduate business degree work at Duke University in Durham North Carolina. With a degree in 2005, Michael and family moved back to Indiana and located in Brownsburg in 2006.
