Coach Kaitlin loves the process and the small moments where her athletes come face to face with their accomplishment. Coach Kaitlin is currently loving helping the 10&U learn to love the water and learn to love competing.

Coach Kaitlin currently teaches third grade at Walnut Grove Elementary School and is thrilled to continue to grow roots within the community. Fundamental Coaches

Lauren Beckner, Fundamental 2 (tier 2/3), FUNdamental 1 Coach

[email protected]

Coach Lauren began her swimming career at Center Grove Aquatic Club when she was 6 years old. After competing for the high school team Freshman through Junior year, she suffered from a season ending injury. This caused her to not compete her Senior year. Coach Lauren attended the University of Indianapolis, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Public Health Education and Promotion. She is now getting her Master's degree in elementary education at Western Governors University, in hopes to become an Elementary School Teacher. When not at the pool Coach Lauren can be found traveling, hiking, anything sports related, and spending times with friends and family!

Coach Lauren began her coaching career 7 years ago with the Sharks n' Minnows group here at CGAC. She is currently coaching tier 2, as well as assisting the 8 and unders in the FUNdamental program. This past season she became ASCA Level 2 certified. With that certification, she has grown in having a better understanding of the foundation of swimming. In coaching the younger athletes, it is important to set them up to have the best foundation possible. My favorite part of coaching is having a hand in the athletes foundation and seeing them grow and achieve the goals they set at a young age.

Sam Dikeman, FUNdamental Coach

I have coached on and off with CGAC for the last 24 years. I have coached swimmers at all levels from beginner development to the zone level. I am excited to be back this season.

When I am not coaching, I am either at Center Grove Elementary teaching some amazing 2nd graders or at home with my family. I have 2 kids: Harper who is 10 and loves cheer at Perfect 10 and swimming, and Hudson who is getting ready to turn 8 soon and loves his Mickey Mouse. I also coach the girls middle school swim team for Center Grove and coach at Carefree in the summer. I swam myself for 10 years at Center Grove before switching over to coaching. I am very excited to be back and help develop our younger swimmers.

Riley Lounsberry, FUNdamental 2 (tier 1) Coach, Pre-Senior PREP Coach

Coach Riley has been a part of the swimming world since she was six years old.  She grew up swimming for Indian Creek Aquatic Club where she swam through her junior year of high school while helping with swim lessons and assistant coaching.  Coach Riley reached her lifetime goal of swimming at State when she came to CGAC for her senior season.  An injury caused her to hang up her cap and goggles to pursue her coaching career. Becoming a swim coach is a dream come true for Coach Riley, she loves interacting with all the kids and being able to individually help each one succeed!

Outside the pool, Coach Riley loves spending time with the kids at church, being outside, and hanging out with family and friends!
