Mission Statement: Decatur Township Aquatic Club will become the premier athletic organization in Decatur Township. From Learn to Swim to Elite Competitive swimming, DTAC will strive to ensure the population of Decatur Township becomes water safe and develop life long skills for excellence in and out of the water.
 

The Decatur Township Natatorium is located inside Decatur Central High School. Our entrance is Door 16 on the south side of the building, facing the football stadium. Upon entering the building, the natatorium will be to the right of the main hallway. 

 

The eight (8) lane competition pool has a movable bulkhead that allows for training in 25y or 25m, while separating the competition pool from the diving well. Locker rooms are available for patron use before and after your visit. Patrons are responsible for bringing their towels and own lock to secure valuables.

 

What we offer:

 

  • Adult lap swim:Lap swimmers must be at least 18 years or older AND register. You can find this by going to the lap swim tab.

 

  • Swim lessons:For ages 5 and older! Our curriculum is a based off of the American Red Cross learn to swim program and the experience of our coaches. It focuses on making every student safe in and around the water! Our level structure starts with basic life saving skills all the way up to competitive swim strokes.
  • Competitive swim club: Ages 5 and older who can swim one length of the pool comfortably are eligible to join the Decatur Township Aquatic Club! DTAC is a member of USA Swimming and regularly competes against the top programs in the State of Indiana! Whether you have experience competing or not, there is a spot for you with DTAC!
