ing experience. Terra's professional development includes; 7 years attendance and
training at USAG National Gymnastics Congress, 2023 NextGen Cheer Conference, USASF Credentialed in levels 1-3 tumbling and building as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Former cheerleader and gymnast who knows what it takes to adapt in an everchanging industry.

Teagan Miedema

Teagan started coaching gymnastics/tumbling in 2015, and before that, she was a tumbler herself for 11 years. She was also a cheer coach for Pop Warner for 4 years. This is her third year coaching All-
Star cheer. She has attended a Region 4 conference for tumbling, a NextGen cheer conference, and
many Pop Warner conferences. In
2019, she graduated from South Suburban College with an Associate’s in Science. Coach Teagan has coached level 2 and level 3 cheer. You can't picture NWI Fury without her. She is a fan favorite... who doesn't love Teagan? Her hobbies include reading and baking!

Jessica McCord
Cheer Coach
Professional development includes; 2023 NextGen Cheer Conference as well as a lifetime of cheer experience. Jess started her cheer career as a Hobart Pop Warner cheerleader. She transitioned into coaching by participating as a student demo for multiple years, then went on to cheer at Hobart High school. Jess graduated in 2009, and went to Indiana University Northwest and cheered for one year alongside Coach Kim. After college, she coached Hobart Pop Warner for multiple years and then at Hobart High School for 3 years. She also spent time coaching for Griffith Pop Warner before transitioning over to all star cheer with NWI Fury. This will be her second year coaching the Youth Level 1 team. Currently, Jess works full time as a lead at a medical office, has 2 awesome cats and loves crafting. She has such a vibrant personality and we love having her as part of our NWI Fury Fam! Popular with all age groups of cheerleaders, and we hope we have her forever.

Kimberly Zelnis
Cheer Coach
Professional development includes; 2023 NextGen Cheer Conference as well as a lifetime of cheer experience. Kim started her cheer career as a North Newton Pop Warner cheerleader in Morocco, IN. She went on to cheer at North Newton Jr/Sr. High School. She also participated on the Dance Team there as well. In 2009 she moved on to the collegiate level at Indiana Northwest where her and Coach Jess cheered together. During her last year there the team won 2nd place at the NCA competition in Daytona, Florida in their division. She coached 2 years of Pop Warner cheer before joining forces with NWI Fury. She is in her second year coaching the Youth Level 1 team. Fun Fact - Coach Kim is a full time Indiana State Trooper. Don't be nervous if you see a squad car in the parking lot! She also has a full farm worth of animals at home with her husband which include; dogs, ducks, goats, chickens.
