Lessons:

Lessons are for ages 2-11 years old.  No more than 2 swimmers to one instructor.  Swimmers work on being comfortable in the water, water safety, learning strokes and building endurance.

Club Groups: 

Developmental:  Age 12 and under

This group is a transition from lessons to club. Instructors are still in the water. Swimmers have to be able to swim independently 12.5 yards in Freestyle and Backstroke. Practices emphasizing fun, technique and endurance. 1-hour practices.


​Navy: Age 12 and under

Practices emphasizing fun, technique and endurance. Swimmers have to be able to swim independently 25 yards in Freestyle and Backstroke. They have some knowledge of Butterfly and Breaststroke. This group of athletes are focusing on the mechanics of all four strokes. 1-hour practices. 

 

​Gold: Age 8-12

Practices emphasizing skills, technique, and fun. This group is for athletes have a foundation in all 4 strokes and are ready to begin learning advanced skills. 90-minute practices. 

 

Cubs: Age 11–14

Practices emphasizing skills, technique, enjoyment, and achievement in practice and competition. This group is for athletes have a foundation in all 4 strokes and are working on advanced skills. 2-hour practices.

 

Bruins: Age 14 and over

Practices emphasizing skills, technique, race strategies, and competition achievements. Athletes in this group are focusing on High School swimming performance as well as qualifying and scoring at Championship meets. Bruin athletes are expected to serve as role models and mentors to the younger athletes on the team. 2-hour practices.
