Junior Wavemakers
Junior Wavemakers is the perfect launchpad for young swimmers eager to advance to the Wavemakers Swim Team. This foundational program introduces participants to the basics of competitive swimming in a supportive and fun environment. With an emphasis on skill development, stroke technique, and team-building, Junior Wavemakers helps swimmers build confidence and prepares them for the challenges of higher-level competition. Join Junior Wavemakers and take your first step toward becoming a Wavemaker!

Meets:
2 inter-squad meets per session
Bronze
Bronze is the beginning of our full competitive team. Bronze requires a membership with the YMCA of Steuben County and allows the athlete to compete in the Indiana YMCA Swimming League. Bronze team members are able to travel to meets with the team but offer less of a time commitment than Silver and Gold. Bronze offers 2 hours a week in the pool with structured practices from our certified coaching staff. Bronze offers one meet per month (meet fees still apply).

Cost:
$310 paid in full
Silver
Silver requires a membership with the YMCA of Steuben County and allows the athlete to compete in the Indiana YMCA Swimming League. Silver team members are able to travel to meets with the team. Silver offers 4.5 hours a week in the pool with structured practices from our certified coaching staff. Silver offers one meet per month (meet fees still apply).

Friday 4:00 – 5:30 PM
Cost:
$375 paid in full
Gold
Gold requires a membership with the YMCA of Steuben County and allows the athlete to compete in the Indiana YMCA Swimming League. Gold team members are able to travel to meets with the team. Gold offers 5.5 hours a week in the pool with structured practices from our certified coaching staff. Gold offers one meet per month (meet fees still apply).

Monday & Wednesday 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Friday 4:00 – 5:30 PM

Add-Ons / Special Options
In order to provide for as many families as we can, Wavemakers offers special pricing options and add-on opportunities. If you do not fall into this category but are worried about financial commitments to the club, please reach out: [email protected], (260) 668-3607 ext. 104.
USA Swimming
The Steuben County Wavemakers is a USA Swimming registered club competing within Indiana Swimming LSC. This is an additional fee for Wavemakers members. This option provides an additional 2 hours in the pool per week with a USA Swimming–certified coach and an extra 2 meets per month (meet fees still apply).
You must register through the YMCA website, our site here(no fees), and USA Swimming.

High School
This is a different pricing option. We acknowledge that the Indiana high school swim season is in the middle of our winter competitive season, and Ohio and Michigan high school seasons also overlap with our winter season. Due to this overlap, we understand that an athlete swimming in high school may attend fewer meets and practices during this time. If that is the case, you are eligible for the High School price.
