Five State Titles Highlight Day 3 of Senior State

Isabella Chow picked up her second and third state titles of the meet claiming the top spot in the girls 50 freestyle and 50 butterfly with a new team record in the fly.  Chow also finished 5th in the 100 backstroke establishing a new team record.  Biko Hooper-Haviland followed suit with his third state title winning the boys 50 freestyle.  George Ivascu picked up his first ever state title in winning the boys 500 freestyle.  The girls 400 medley team of Briana Mingmuang, Brooke Whitt, Chow and Alexia Brockmann then capped the evening with a state winning relay.

Stevie Grud was state runner up in the boys 50 butterfly and took third in the 50 freestyle.  Joy Cheng was state runner up in the girls 500 freestyle dipping under the 5:00 mark for the first time.  The boys 200 free relay foursome of Jackson Heinlein-Preseault, Alistair Guth, Danny Scott and Biko Hooper Haviland were state runner ups as was the boys 400 medley team of Kale Chow, Heinlein-Preseault, Hooper-Haviland and Guth.

Colleen Tracy finished third in the girls 200 IM and Liv Cremer was third in the girls 500 Free.  The girls 200 free relay quartet of Alexia Brockmann, Joy Cheng, Franchesca Sanchez and Isabella Chow set a new team record in finishing third.  CWAC remains in a tight battle with Bullets for the overall team standings trailing by 6.5 points.

Podium Performances were turned in my Liv Cremer taking 4th in the girls 200 IM, Joy Cheng 6th in the girls 200 IM.  Kale Chow was 4th in the boys 200 IM and Jackson Heinlein-Preseault (6th) and Alistair Guth (8th) joined him on the podium.  Brooke Whitt took 7th in the girls 200 breaststroke.  Alex Ivascu took 4th in the boys 200 breaststroke.  Franchesca Sanchez finished 5th in the girls 50 butterfly.  Alexia Brockmann finished 4th in the girls 100 backstroke with Briana Mingmuang taking 6th in the same event.  Kale Chow grabbed 7th in the boys 500 freestyle
