CWAC Parent Hosted Meeting on Becoming an Official

Interested in becoming a USA Swimming official?  CWAC recently hosted a meeting about the steps to become an official.

Having certified USA Swimming officials is a critical component of being a healthy, well-run club.  It allows us to run hosted meets more easily.  In addition, it makes us attractive to other clubs when we are trying to get our swimmers into their meets – they are very appreciative when we can bring our amazing swimmers as well as helpful officials to assist with their meet operations. 

What are the benefits?

  • You get to be on deck during the meets, including away meets
  • You learn more about the sport of swimming
  • You make friends with other CWAC official swim parents and non-CWAC swim parents, too
  • Free meals at meets!!
  • You fulfill your family commitment requirement and some other great incentives as well.
