Bezsaly Wins Two Events At Zones

Ryan Bezsaly was state runner up in both backstrokes last weekend, but this weekend dropped even more time to win the 10&Under boy's central zone meet and establish new team records in both events.  Ryan was part of the winning 200 medley relay and also finished fourth in the 200 free, fifth in the 400 free, sixth in the 200 IM and 13th in the 50 fly.

Ian Hu had a pair of top 5 finishes taking fifth in both the 10&Under boys 100 and 200 free to go along with at 10th place finish in the 50 back. Ian was part of the fifth place 200 free relay team.  Jake Moldovan finished ninth in the 10&U boys 200 free and 13th in the 400 free.  Alex Luzi finished tenth in the 11-12 girls 200 fly along with a 16th in the 800 free.  Tavion Brown finished 15th in the 13-14 boys 50 free and was part of the 9th place 400 free relay.  Jackson Hayes also represented Team Illinois in the 50 free and 50 fly.
