Five of our DCST swimmers earned qualifying times to compete at the YMCA Long Course National Championships in Ocala, FL. DCST Qualifiers included Stella Anderson (Girls 10&Under 100 Free and 200 Freestyle), Andrew Martinez (Boys 11-12 50 Freestyle), Chloe Domroes (Girls 13-14 50 Freestyle), and Luke Oland (Boys 13-14 50 Freestyle). Stella, Chloe, and Luke competed in the meet. Chloe Domroes made it to finals and finished 10th overall in the 50 Freestyle. Overall, the meet was a great experience and the swimmers are all excited to get chances to return in the future!

DCST Sends Six to Age Group Long Course Championships The Kishwaukee YMCA/Dekalb County Swim Team had six swimmers that qualified and competed at the Illinois Swimming Age Groups Championships July 21-24 in St. John, IN. DCST Finishes 3rd at Illinois YMCA Long Course State Championships The weekend of July 15-17, DCST traveled to St. John, IN to compete in the YMCA Long Course State Championships where we finished 3rd in combined scoring, 3rd in the girls division, and 4th in the boys division. DCST Finishes 7th At NCISC Championship Meet The Kishwaukee YMCA/Dekalb County Swim Team hosted the NCISC Conference Championship at Kishwaukee YMCA on Saturday, July 16th.
