Facilities
Our facility is conveniently located in downtown Emporia on Commercial Street. We are an artistic gymnastics gym, which includes the four traditional events. Each class will work on variations and progressions on each event; floor, beam, vault, and bars. We have a clean, comfortable gym with heat and air conditioning to make sure your little gymnast has the best environment to learn and grow.
Meet the Owner
Macy
From a young age, Macy has always had an interest for working with children and loved coaching. She has a passion for fitness and helping people of all ages find the enjoyment of being active. Macy has been involved with gymnastics since the age of 7. She performed as a competitive gymnast at CATTS Gymnastics and coached recreational classes there as well. After graduating high school, Macy did college athletics in Track and Field.
Macy worked at Wichita Gymnastics Club where she coached the competitive team and traveled with them to competitions. Macy is ACE and Safe Sport Certified. She has 18 years of experience in the sport of gymnastics, as both a gymnast and coach. Macy has had many wonderful opportunities to train and learn from some of the world's best coaches
and gymnasts; even getting the opportunity to meet Aly Raisman and Simone Biles! By enrolling in Lyon Gymnastics, your child will be in great care.
Meet the Coaches
Brylea
Brylea Guion is a senior at Emporia High School! She is currently involved in dance and cheerleading and loves working with kids in her spare time! Brylea has a three year background in gymnastics, then she moved on to dance for 16 years and cheerleading for 7 years! Brylea plans on going to Emporia State University to major in Marketing for a couple of years and then plans to head to Bellus Academy in Manhattan to become an Esthetician! She can’t wait to start this new adventure at Lyon Gymnastics! 🤍
Kaylee
Kaylee started gymnastics when she was 4 years old and continued for four years until she decided to focus on softball! She now plays competitive softball for her 10th year and enjoys every second of it.
Kaylee enjoys working with kids and coaching, so Lyon Gymnastics is a perfect fit for her! Kaylee is finishing her last year of high school at Emporia High and plans to attend Emporia State next fall. She wants to major in secondary education and minor in coaching! Miss Kaylee does all classes!
What makes Kaylee smile? "Watching kids improve every class and seeing their eyes light up once they see they CAN do a skill."
Mariah​
Mariah currently attends EHS and will be a senior during the 2024-2025 school year. She is currently part of the cheer and dance team. Mariah has been involved in dance and gymnastics her whole life!
Ashtian
Ashtian was born and raised in Andover, Kansas. I moved to Emporia in August of 2021 for school. I am a second-semester junior at ESU majoring in Elementary Education. I will start student teaching in the Spring of 2023! I would like to end up teaching fourth or fifth grade. In my free time, I like to hang out with my boyfriend and relax. I love to do anything outside and babysit!
I was never involved in gymnastics, but I loved playing softball and volleyball. I love watching sports and helping people. I came to Lyon Gymnastics because I wanted to work with kids and help them learn new skills and grow confidence in themselves and I learn right alongside the kids!
Blair
Blair was born and raised in Emporia. I currently live just outside of Emporia with my fiancé! I am the K-2 Resource Teacher at Riverside Elementary. In my free time, I enjoy going on walks and having cookouts with friends!
I was involved in gymnastics for 10 years— over half of that time was spent competing competitively! I was involved in dance for 14 years and spent 4 years competing competitively. I also spent 6 years involved in cheerleading!
