Mission Statement

Lynbrook Aquatics provides a competitive swimming opportunity for children in the Olympic Sport of Swimming in a safe and clean aquatic facility. The Swim Coach is a member of USA Swimming, which requires a Swim Coaches Safety Training Course, First Aid, and CPR certification. These certificates must remain current. The Head Swim Coach is also a current member of the American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA). The coach strives for excellence in each athlete by giving individual attention and teaching the correct swimming techniques for the strokes, starts, turns, and finishes of Freestyle, Butterfly, Breaststroke, and Backstroke, and Individual Medley.

Lynbrook Aquatics is a competitive swim team program and is a member of USA Swimming, Inc. Our competitive swim program is designed to enable swimmers to progress from the novice swimmer level into competitive swimmers at the local, state, national, and international levels; in accordance with, the respective ability and desire of each swimmer. The team provides opportunities for mental, physical, emotional, and social growth and development. The values, techniques, and strategies of goal setting, self-discipline, and physical conditioning are taught and demonstrated.
