Hello Prospective JBarracudas Families!

We offer swim evaluations during the last week of every month from Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM . If you would like to have your child participate, please reserve a time and date through an email response to our Swim Coordinator [email protected] or Head Coach [email protected] that includes your name, your swimmer's name(s), the date and time you'd like to reserve, the best email address and phone number to contact you.

*If there is an emergency, please let us know ASAP and we will try our best to reschedule.*

Please plan for the evaluation to take around 30 minutes to complete. This will provide you an opportunity to meet the coaches, perform the swim portion of the evaluation, discuss group placement, and begin the registration process.

For the evaluation, your child will need to come prepared with a swimsuit, cap, goggles, towel, and water bottle .

Upon arrival, you can park in the front lot located off of Executive Drive and enter through our main doors. Let the Guest Services team member, at the front, know you are on-site for a swim evaluation and they will direct you to the pool to meet the JBST Coaching Staff.

Requirements for Evaluation: At least 5 years old and can complete a 25 Freestyle, 25 Backstroke, and 25 Breaststroke.   

As a reminder, upon completion of an evaluation and placement in a group, an active LFJCC membership is required to have your child participate in JBarracudas. More information can be found here . In addition to the LFJCC membership, the JBarracudas is a Competitive USA Swimming Recognized Club so you will also be required to register your swimmer with the national USA Swimming organization.

Following the day of evaluation, please expect a follow-up email with additional information within 72 hours.
