Tryout Dates for 25/26 Season Announced! Feb 22, 23, and March 1

Liberty Mountain Race Team has set tryout dates for the 2025/26 season.  Those dates are Feb 22, 23, and March 1.  These spring tryouts are for the following season.  You can find more details on tryouts and a registration link by clicking HERE

Openings for next year's team is always limited and can be very competitive.  In the past we have had nearly 100 athletes tryout for less than 20 positions.  Tryout slots also fill up fast so don't delay in signing up your athlete.

You can expect the evaluation to only be about 90 minutes.  Coaches are looking for basic skiing ability and athletes that can follow direction and show an enthusiasm for learning and the sport of alpine skiing. 

Decisions are made in late spring with announcements going out by early summer.  In an attempt to ensure we have a strong (low) athlete to coach ratio, we first assess returning athletes and our coaching staff prior to setting the final number of team openings.
