Coach Morgan, Head Age Group Coach: Silver/Gold

Morgan is a native of Glenview, IL. She started swimming at a young age and swam all four years in high school. Starting in middle school and then all through high school she began working as a swim lesson instructor for the Glenbrook South Learn-to-Swim program. She became head guard during her senior year and then post-graduation became an assistant director at the program.

Morgan spent 4+ years down south attending the University of Alabama. While there she taught lessons at the Bama Swim School program eventually becoming the program coordinator and coached a “pre-team” development group. She also coached at Glenview Titan Aquatic Club whenever she was home and following graduation she was able to work for her first full seasons with GTAC. With the success and growth of the program they were asked by their neighbors, Glenbrook Aquatics, to merge and became Glenbrook Swim Club (GSC) with over 300 swimmers.  She had focused her time with the 8&under and 9&10 age groups but it developed with her assisting across all ages and skill levels. She had taken only less than a year off of coaching after moving from the suburbs to the city and was eager to get back on deck when she found Lakeshore!
