Brandon Pierce - Head Coach

Brandon was a competitive swimmer in high school in Blue Ash, Ohio. Brandon was a high school All-American and a six-time YMCA Nationals qualifier. Brandon continued his swimming career at Rider University and helped lead the team to a MAAC conference championship. He set several Rider team and pool records along the way. While at Rider, he qualified and participated in USA Swimming Senior Nationals and achieved top-ten standing in men’s team results. While in college Brandon worked as an assistant coach for the Lawrenceville Lightning Swim Team and was the head swim coach at the Miami Hills Swim & Tennis Club in Milford, Ohio.
Before joining the UDAC coaching staff in 2010, Brandon was the Aquatic Director at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J., where he was responsible for the University's aquatic facilities operations, staffing, and programming. During his tenure at Stevens, he was also the Head Age Group/USA Swimming coach of the Stevens Sharks Swim Team, where he led the club’s first swimmers to compete in Eastern Zone Age Group and Supersectional Championships. Brandon is also the head coach for the Upper Dublin High School Swim Team and has been the head swim coach at Maple Manor Swim Club for the past 13 years. Brandon currently is the coach for UDAC's Sr. USA and Sr. 1 groups.
Cheryl Edwards - Age Group Head Coach

Cheryl has over 25 years of aquatic experience, teaching, and coaching, at almost every level from Learn-to-Swim classes to Division I Collegiate Programs. Her goal is to mentor the young student-athletes to be their best in and out of the pool, and to give back to the sport that has provided so many valuable life lessons.
Coach Cheryl began her swim career at Hideaway Swim Club in the summers of her youth, and moved to HHAA (formerly HHUMAC) and Hatboro Horsham High School in the winters. Cheryl continued swimming competitively at the University of Rhode Island, where she was also a founding member of the University’s Club Lacrosse Team.
The coaching part of Coach Cheryl’s swimming resume began after graduating from URI, as she stayed at her alma mater to give back to the program that guided her for four successful years. Coaching stints at Rider University and Stevens Institute of Technology followed to round out the collegiate coaching years.
After moving back to the area, Cheryl coached at HHAA and has been the Head Coach at Hideaway Swim Club since 2012. She currently works as a math teacher at the Quaker School in Horsham and resides in Horsham with her husband Matt, and their two boys.
Zach Brech - Swim Coach

Zach Brech is a former swimmer of UDAC where he began his swimming career at age 12. He attended Upper Dublin High School, class of 2012, were he specialized in the 100 and 50fr, and 100fly. After high school, he attended Towson University where he continued to specialize in sprint fly and free. He graduated in 2016 with a major in business administration, concentrating on marketing. After college, he coached for Loyola Blakefield Aquatics. In spring 2019, Zach moved back home to be the head coach of Manorlu swim club. In fall of 2020, he joined the UDAC coaching staff as a full time coach, coaching team 4 and Senior USA athletes. In addition to coaching at UDAC, Zach joined the UDHS swim team staff as the assistant coach for the boys’ varsity swim team.
Zach is UDAC's Team 5 coach and assists with Team 2.
Rachel began her swimming career around age 7 with Souderton Area Community Aquatic Club. She continued to swim through her junior year of high school. She played water polo for all four high school years at Souderton Area High School. After high school she went to Montgomery County Community College and graduated with an Associate's in Exercise Science.This was where she fell in love with the weight room since MCCC did not have her
sports. She then got her Bachelor’s in Health Science and Wellness at Ursinus College. She is currently working towards her Master’s in Athletic Administration at Liberty OnlineUniversity.
During her time in college, Rachel was a part-time personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach working in the weight room with athletes from all sports. She started coaching swimming recently by helping with SACAC during the 2024 winter season. In her spare time she enjoys lifting, spending time with loved ones, and reading.
Judy Morrissy - Swim Coach

Judy swam competitively from the age of 7 at Maple Manor Swim Club, and she began swimming at UDAC from the first year it was established in the 60's. Judy was also a member of the Upper Dublin High School women’s team and was a part of the very first PIAA State Championship Meet held for girls in the 70’s. Judy currently holds a degree in Health and Physical Fitness.
Judy’s previous coaching experience includes the following: head girls’ coach of Centennial Aquatic Club, head boys’ coach at Abington Aquatic Club, and head girls coach of UDAC. Judy also has experience in the position of Aquatic Director of UDAC. Since 1990, Judy has been a member of the Fort Washington Swim Club coaching staff. She returned to the UDAC coaching staff in 2015.
Judy is UDAC's Team 2 coach.
Melissa Pierce - Swim Coach

Melissa began her swimming career at the age of 7 with UDAD, when her mom, Judy, was the head coach of the program. Melissa continued to swim for UDAC while also swimming for Hatboro-Horsham Hogh School, where she qualified for the PIAA State Championship all four years. She was awarded a scholarship to Rider University and continued her swimming career, setting school records and championship accolades throughout her four years. Melissa graduated in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in education as well as psychology. After college, Melissa was a assistant coach for Fort Washington Swim and Tennis Club. She returned to Hatboro Horsham as an assistant high school swim coach and was the head girls coach for Hatboro-Horsham Aquatic Club. Melissa is currently an assistant coach for maple manor Swim Club and has been a part of the UDAC coaching staff since 2017. Melissa is a 6th grade language arts teacher in the Hatboro-Horsham School District.
Vikye Swanson - Swim Coach

Vikye started swimming competitively at age 3 at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. She continued her swimming career in college while attending William Smith College. In college, Vikye was the Division III Champion in the 50 and 100 backstroke. Currently, she continues to swim and compete at the masters USMS level holding national and world records.
Vikye began coaching at age 17 for Whitemarsh Valley Country Club. Vikye has been the head coach of the Fort Washington Sharks since 1990, and the head coach of Central Bucks High School West since 1991. She joined the UDAC staff in 2016 and brings years of coaching experience to the club. Additionally, after 33.5 years of teaching German and French at Central Bucks High School East, Vikye has retired and is focusing on her love of coaching.

Diana Peng-Morris - Swim Coach

She is a Physician Assistant and has a masters degree in health sciences. She has 3 swimmers of her own that she taught before it was realized that competitive swimming was also in their future. She loves the sport of swimming and hopes to pass that along to all the kids.
Kaitlyn Pro - Swim Coach

Kaitlyn started swimming at age 5 at Fort Washington Swim Club. While in high school, Kaitlyn swam on the Upper Dublin Girls Varsity swim team specializing in breaststroke and IM.
In 2022, Kaitlyn graduated from Rosemont College with a degree in Early Education and Special Education. She is currently a Life Skills teacher in the Norristown Area School District.
Kaitlyn began coaching in 2016 as a volunteer coach at Fort Washington Swim Club. In 2017 Kaitlyn joined the UDAC staff as a junior swim coach and is now an assistant Pre-Team coach, as well as instrumental in running the Lil’ Dragons Swim Lesson Program.
Ashley Bonanni - Swim & Dive Coach

Ashley began her swimming career at age 5 and her diving career at age 7 with Manorlu Swim Club. From there, she fell in love with both sports. Ashley swam with UDAC in the winter before entering Upper Dublin High School where she swam and dove as a “swiver” for all four years. She specialized in backstroke and was captain of the dive team her senior year. After graduating UDHS, Ashley attended West Chester University where she took a break from swimming and picked up water polo. During COVID when club sports were shut down, she joined West Chester’s dive team. After she graduated WCU, she took time in her gap year to coach both swimming and diving at UDAC. Ashley is currently at Temple University pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Ashley has been coaching at Manorlu since 2019, Upper Dublin High School since 2021, and UDAC since 2022. When Ashley’s not coaching, she enjoys giving swim lessons, cooking, baking, exercising, reading and hanging out with friends and family. Ashley is UDAC’s head diving coach and assistant pre-team coach.
Deanne Morris - Swim Coach
Deanne started swimming at the age of 7. She swam for Harleysville Swim Team in the summer, and then PVAC in the winter until Souderton built a pool in 1990, then swam for SACAC. She was an All-American in several events at Souderton Area High School, a national level swimmer in the 100 breaststroke, and went on to swim for University of Maryland and Cornell University.
Deanne helped coach her summer team starting in the late 90s for several years, where she also taught swim lessons. She came back to coaching in 2015 to assist at Souderton High School, where she spent four seasons with both the boys and girls teams.
Now that her kids swim, Deanne follows them. She's spent the last 4 summers helping fellow UDAC coaches Vikye and Kaitlyn at Fort Washington, and the last 3 winters helping at WCAC. Deanne works per diem as a pharmacist and enjoys master's swimming. She loves to share her love of swimming and is excited for a great season!
Alice Lambert - Swim Coach

Jared Kressman - Swim Coach
I graduated from Temple University with a bachelor's degree in psychology last year and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in counseling psychology, still at Temple. I started swimming as an 8 and under at Manorlu and continued all through high school. My main strokes were butterfly and freestyle with an emphasis on distance freestyle. I had district qualifying times my junior and senior year for the 500 freestyle. Hopefully I still am part of the pool record for the 200 medley relay. Since then, I have picked up running, but still stay involved in the swimming community, coaching at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club the last three Summers.
Greg Sullivan - Triathlon Coach

Greg grew up swimming for local clubs and Springfield High School. He lifeguarded with the Ocean City Beach Patrol over college summers when a fellow guard encouraged him to do a triathlon. This marked Greg’s transition from swimmer to triathlete, as he was immediately hooked. Over three decades, Greg competed in more than 100 triathlons. He represented Team USA at the 2013 ITU World Championship in London, and has 13 Ironman finishes, including four at the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii.
In 2020, Greg earned coaching certifications with USA Triathlon and USA Swimming, and started TriUDAC, our triathlon team. He enjoys introducing our athletes to multi-sport training, and is an advocate for swimming, biking, and running as lifelong fitness pursuits. He encourages our swimmers to try events beyond the pool, organizing group training and team competition in triathlon and open water swimming.
Greg is a Lehigh University graduate and works as a geotechnical engineer.
