2023 YMCA Long Course Nationals Night 1 Recap

In the 800 free, Morgan Harlan swam a PB of 9:25.79 to place 14th.  Natalie Krauss went a personal best of 9:26.89 to place 16th overall!  Molly Foltz also went a best time of 9:38.08 to placed 25th.

In the 100 fly, Jena Nowoswiat dropped 1.47, swimming a 2:18.17 to place 3rd, earning her first Winter Juniors cut, and get the team record!!  Morgan Harlan swam a 2:24.72, dropping 1.66 and placing 14th.  Maddie Fox also went a personal best of 2:26.55, placing 21st. Tommy Moul swam a 2:08.46 to place 7th.

In the 50 breast, Paige Fisher swam a 34.26 to place 11th and Hadar Miller swam a 34.54 to place 13th.  Reilly Dolan placed 28th with a 35.35.  Ava Sgarra swam a 36.69 to place 32nd.  Sebastian Tith swam a 31.31 to place 27th.  Jake Nowoswiat placed 31st with a 31.87.

In the 100 free, Alexa Fulton was 2nd with a 56.98.  Kenzie Padilla was 11th with a 59.22.  Lily Robinson swam a 59.37 to place 13th.  Flynn Truskett was 22nd with a 59.56. Claire Roussakis went a personal best of 1:00.29 to place 29th.  Mason Green went a best time of 53.10, dropping a second, to place 13th.

In the 200 medley relay, the girls placed 3rd with a 1:56.95, also breaking the team record!  The boys went a 1.49.00 to place 12th!
