2023 YMCA Long Course Nationals Night 2 Recap

Congrats to all of our finalists for Night 2!  This is a record high number of 19 finals qualifiers in a single day!!

In the 200 Free, Alexa Fulton came in 2nd with a time of 2:04.23.  Kenzie Padilla went a best time of 2:06.46 to win the B Final and get 9th overall.  Jena Nowoswiat got 24th with a time of 2:11.97.  Mason Green also went a best time of 1:57.28 in the C Final to place 18th!

In the 200 Breast, Grace Curtis placed 5th with a best time of 2:43.08!  Hadar Miller placed 12th with a 2:44.01 and Reilly Dolan placed 14th with a 2:45.48, both best times!  Paige Fisher crushed the C final with a 5 second drop from this morning to place 17th with a 2:43.16.  Ava Sgarra got 20th with a 2:48.46!  Jake Nowoswiat placed 21st with a time of 2:30.00, a 3 second drop from his best.  Great job breaststrokers!

In the 200 Back, Devyn Sargent placed 3rd overall with a new best time and team record from the morning of 2:16.47!!  Sarah Fox placed 10th overall with a time of 2:21.62, new best time and 3 second drop.  Maddie Fox placed 18th, getting 2nd in the C Final with a new best time of 2:23.40!!  Tommy Moul placed 12th overall with a best time of 2:09.53!!

In the 200 Free Relay, the girls 200 free relay of Claire Roussakis, Alexa Fulton, Lily Robinson, and Flynn Truskett, placed 4th overall with a time of 1:46.68 (and dropped one second from this morning).  The boys 200 free relay of Mason Green, Liam Haas, Connor Kirby, and Tommy Moul crushed the B Final to place 9th overall!
