Meet Head Coach  — Owen, Orokawa Blue Crabs

My name is Owen Davis and I am ecstatic to be in my 3rd season with the YCM Blue Crabs at Orokawa.  A few things to know about me in my background of swimming. I swam at Misericordia University in College, specializing in distance Freestyle, 200 Fly, and 200 Back. I also started  coaching for my local club program in Pennsylvania which is where I am from. 

I graduated from Misericordia University in 2019 with a degree in middle level education with a focus in Science and Social Studies. In my 10 years of  coaching I have worked with clubs and schools from Pennsylvania, Arizona and Maryland.  During my time in  coaching I have worked with many swimmers in helping them final at High school states to helping age group kids achieve their zone cuts. Also I have worked with college swimmers that have ended up competing at the NAIA, D3 and D1 level in swimming.

Some things to know about me off the Pool deck are that I got my first child in December of 2024 with my wife. I love soccer, and exploring places with my wife. Go Blue Crabs!
