The EAFSC was founded by a group of local skaters, and soon after became a member of the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA). EAFSC makes available contract ice, typically from October through March, at the Hannahville Ice and Turf Complex. EAFSC is a non profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the promotion of recreational and competitive figure skating. 

We have many opportunities for young people to enjoy the sport of figure skating. New skaters can enjoy group lessons through our Learn-to-Skate USA program. Skaters who are ready for a greater commitment can join Club, which offers private lessons with a coach of your choosing. EAFSC provides testing and competition opportunities, as well as a chance to showcase skills through our Holiday Exhibition and spring Ice Show. We strive to offer a variety of skating opportunities for all skating levels. Our primary objective is the promotion of figure skating in the Escanaba Area, and to HAVE FUN SKATING!
