Colin Dolcetti

Originally from Canada, Colin swam under several Olympic coaches.  He swam nationally for SSMAC, a small but widely known club in Canada.  During his swimming career he was ranked top in Canada as an age group swimmer in the 200 Fly, 100 Fly, 200 IM, and 400 IM.

Off the deck Coach Colin attended Oakland University on a swimming scholarship and graduated with a dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering.  When he’s not at the pool, Colin has worked as a senior level Software Engineer and Network Admin for his company for over 18 years.

As a coach, Colin believes that dedication, determination, accountability, and pride are the key factors to overall success with anything you do.  Colin’s philosophy is simple:  "You get what you put in." Coach Colin was the head age group coach for LL (Liquid Lighting.) Under his direction he was able to keep the team top 3 in the state for over 5 years and also had his best finish yet as a club in 2nd place for the 2013-2014 season. Since moving on from LL Coach Colin has been honing his skills as a private coach to some of the top-level swimmers in the state along with high-level triathletes.
