Championship Meet Document 2026

Good Day HEAT Families,

Please review the following important information regarding our Championship Meets for the HEAT Winter Season. These championship meets are open to all swimmers who have participated in at least one meet this winter.

Please note that all entry deadlines are firm. Late entries cannot be accepted for any championship meet.

Meet Registration and Results

  • Championship meets will be posted to our meet registration page shortly. Please watch for a follow-up email once registration is live.

  • Final results from the Home Quad Meet will be uploaded on Saturday afternoon.

Entry Deadlines

  • A Meet Entry Deadline: Wednesday, February 4 at 11:59 PM

  • B Meet and 8 & Under Meet Entry Deadline: Wednesday, February 4 at 11:59 PM

Championship meet packets will be posted to our website very soon, but no later than before practice on or before Thursday, January 29.

Admission and Heat Sheets
All championship sites charge spectator admission to help cover meet costs.

  • Spectator Admission: $5 per adult, $3 per child (students 16 and under)

  • Maximum of $20 per immediate family

  • Heat Sheets: $2, available at the concession stand once the session has checked in

Championship Meet Schedule

Friday, February 13
8 & Under Championship Meet and 9–10 / 11–12 B Meet
Location: Hudsonville High School Pool 

  • Check-in begins: 4:45 PM

  • Meet begins: 6:00 PM

  • Estimated end time: 8:30 PM  We will host four additional teams for this session.

Saturday, February 14 – A Meet All sessions at Jenison HS
Location: Jenison High School Aquatics Center
2140 Bauer Road, Jenison, MI 49428

Morning Session
Events: 9–10 Girls, 9–10 Boys, 11–12 Girls

  • Balcony opens: 8:15 AM

  • Warm-ups: 8:30 AM

  • Events begin: 9:30 AM

Afternoon Session
Events: 11–12 Boys, 13–14 Girls, 13–14 Boys

  • Warm-ups begin after the completion of the morning session, but not before 12:30 PM

  • Check-in closes 15 minutes after the start of warm-ups

  • Events begin 60 minutes after warm-ups start, but not before 1:30 PM

Important Registration Notes

  1. All swimmers ages 13 and over automatically qualify for the A Meet. Please do not select the B Meet for these swimmers.

  2. The A Meet is split into two sessions by age group.

  3. Relays are permitted but are limited per team per event.

  4. Swimmers who have achieved at least one A cut must compete at the A Meet. These swimmers may also swim one additional “bonus” event, provided a time is listed for that event.

  5. If you are unsure which meet your swimmer qualifies for and would like to register now:

    • Select the A Meet and declare your swimmer.

    • At the event selection page, times displayed in black indicate eligibility for the A Meet.

    • If all times are shown in red, the swimmer is not eligible for the A Meet.

    • If at least one time appears in black, the swimmer may swim that event at the A Meet, along with one additional bonus event (even if the bonus event time appears in red).
