As a general guideline here is how SAC handles issues. (handled in parallel if applicable to USA swimming and Safe Sport authorities and processes)

We encourage swimmers to resolve issues amongst themselves when situations allow first.

When not possible:

1. At the initial discretion of the Head Coach countermeasures will be applied during practice and/or meets to resolve

(if no resolution, new issues, continuation, and/or escalation occurs)

2. The board will decide on remediation

(if no resolution, new issues, continuation, and/or escalation occurs)

3. The board will decide if ejection from the team is necessary*

*based on the severity of issues may consider ejection from the team at any time during the process.

Travel policy for the SAC club

For all swim out-of-state meets at a higher level than Sectionals, all Coach travel expenses will be at the discretion of the Board of Directors and may require financial participation from the qualified Swimmer’s family.
