We are pleased to offer electronic payment processing and registration. The process is simple for both new and returning members. You'll get access to your own private account that will enable you easily to declare for swim meets, sign-up for jobs, see your children's swim times histories, maintain your own contact information, and more.

Pups & Jr. Otters - The Willow Run Pool is colder than a recreational pool.  If your child is assigned to Pups or the Jr. Otters , you can bring your swimmer on the first day to try out the class and pool to make sure s/he is comfortable in the water/class. 

Adult Swim Lessons - We are not able to offer Aduilt Swim Lessons this Fall. 

9/12- ​ First Day of Practice for Competitive Swimmers (Yellow, Blue, Bronze, Silver Gold) & Learn-to-Swim Groups (Pups & Jr Otters)

Registration for New Members opens 08/27/22

New Swimmers - Please register for the swim group assignment received during testing prior to registration .

Parent Meeting / Swim Testing

Mandatory Parent Meeting for Returning & New Families – Date 9/12, 9/13 or 9/21 6:30p @ Willow Run Pool 

The meeting will cover: Volunteer Deposit, Volunteer Opportunities, Merchandise 

Note: Practice will be canceled on YOSC Meet Dates

YCS HS Girls Swim Team Home Meet dates: 9/14, 10/6, 10/20

Below is the list of YOSC SMSL Meet Schedule. We run either dual or tri meets, and each meet has a specific stroke focus. Below is the list of the focus of the meet and the teams we will be swimming against. In order to compete in the Championship meet at the end of the session a swimmer must have competed in at least one League meet. 

The Ypsilanti Otters Swim Club (YOSC) SMSL Swim Meets will be open soon for sign-up.

For the home meets, we will need families to volunteer. Look over the “job sign-up” list to learn more.

Fall 2022 YOSC SMSL Championships – Location TBD

Your swimmer must have competed in at least one meet to qualify to swim at Championships. Our coaches will plan the line up based on this information.  Please accept or decline for each swimmer. More detailed info will be sent to families before the championship meet.

12/3 (Sat) AM – 8 & Under

12/3 (Sat) PM - 9/10 swim

12/4 (Sun) AM - 13 & Up

12/4 (Sun) PM - 11/12

In order to participate in Championships a YOSC swimmer must compete in at least 1 SMSL Meet

Some swimmers or parents feel that they are not ready for a swimming competition yet. The only way to be comfortable and confident in the water is to try out all aspects of swimming. Even if a swimmer can only do one race, that is enough to get them into the sport of competitive swimming. The way we create an atmosphere of teamwork and community is to get everyone cheering for their teammates, and the friendship and respect of one another will show in and out of the water.
