Joanie Hudak - Assistant Coach

Coach Joanie grew up swimming on the North Shore and swam at Washington and Lee in Lexington, VA. After graduating she competed in open water swims and eventually began taking part in local road races. Soon after she started triathlons, taking on longer races, including her first ironman in 2017.

Joanie recently started coaching CRAM in April of 2019 and continues to train and compete in triathlons and open water swims alongside may bother CRAM coaches and swimmers.

Outside the pool, she enjoys traveling, brunch and spending time with her husband to be and cats.

Stephanie Morawski - Director

The Director of Charles River Masters is also Harvard’s Head Coach of Women’s Swimming and Diving. One of the most decorated swimmers in the rich history of Harvard's storied program, Stephanie Wriede Morawski '92 has been the head coach of her alma mater since 1996.  Steph and her Crimson team have claimed many Ivy League Championships over her outstanding career. 

Morawski complied a long list of accolades as a student-athlete before entering the coaching ranks.

A former team captain, she is a two-time All-America selection, a three-time NCAA Championships qualifier, and two-time Olympic Trials qualifier. Morawski earned her undergraduate degree in economics from Harvard in 1992 and added a master's degree from Harvard's Graduate School of Education in 1999.
