There are no lesson requirements, you can schedule as many or as few of lessons as you wish!

LESSON COST

Private (one person)

$30 per lesson

Semi-Private (2 people)
* both swimmers skill levels MUST be similar *

$50 per lesson
  • Available to anyone ages 3+ (must be potty trained)
  • All lessons are 30 minutes and instructor led, no parents allowed in the water
  • Lessons take place in the warm water pool at the Recreation Center. The pool is heated to 85 degrees.
  • Any rescheduling of lessons needs to be arranged at least 4 days in advance. No make-up lessons will be offered due to scheduling errors or failure to communicate, other commitments, etc.
  • All registrants will need to enter/exit through door #4 of the Rec Center, which is off the main parking lot on the south side - see the map
  • Limited space available, once spots are full we do not offer any waitlist
COVID-19 ITEMS
  • No siblings are allowed to attend, unless they can be in a stroller or stay next to the parent for the entirety of the lesson. Parents can observe the lessons from outside the pool through the windows
  • ALL children (ages 12 & under) are REQUIRED to wear masks once entering the Rec Center and they need to remain on until they walk in the pool doors for lessons
  • Instructors will have a choice to be masked or not. ONLY those that have been fully vaccinated will be permitted to not wear masks (subject to change)
  • IF your child is feeling ill, awaiting a Covid test, is in quarantine, etc: Parents, you MUST email [email protected] prior to 2pm on your swimmers scheduled lesson day in order to be eligible for any make-up lessons or credits for any missed lessons to be arranged.

  • Due to an event taking place at the Rec Center on November 20, 21 and December 4, 5 - No Locker Rooms will be available on these dates!

WINTER:  TBD

LESSON TIMES:   6:00-6:30pm, 6:35-7:05pm, 7:10-7:40pm

DAYS OFFERED:  Saturday & Sunday ONLY

CANCELLATIONS & UPDATES: This is the ONLY communication method we use when cancellations occur. Pool accidents occur occasionally as we work with young children.

HOW TO REGISTER

  1. Determine what level of swimmer you or your child is: Orcas Swim Levels
     
  2. PLEASE REVIEW THE AVAILABILITY ABOVE, PRIOR TO SUBMITTING YOUR REQUEST FORM!!

    Complete this REGISTRATION FORM (Saturday & Sunday ONLY) - be certain to include the specific dates and times you are requesting. NO AVAILABILITY FOR THE FALL SESSION
     
  3. Once a schedule has been coordinated, you will receive an invoice via email where you can complete your payment information. Once the confirmation email with your lesson details has been sent, you are responsible for the payment for that total number of lessons committed to. A one lesson non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of confirming your schedule. Failure to pay this non-refundable deposit will result in cancellation of the reserved lessons.
     
  4. You will receive a confirmation email that will include more information, including lesson details and a review of your swimmers schedule
