FAST lessons provide an intimate way for your child to learn how to love activity in the water. Instruction is provided based on the needs and goals of the individual swimmer. The range is wide, from learning to blow bubbles to preparation for joining FAST's swim team, these lessons will prepare your swimmer for a sport they can participate in their entire life.​ Our lesson program covers not only basic water safety and proficiency in the water, but also teaches the four competitive strokes: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle. It is the perfect lesson program for anyone who wants to be safe around the water and/or has the desire to swim competitively in the future.

There will be an average of four classes per month. Students may enter the program at any time during the year and can advance within the program at their own pace. During the school year, all lessons will be held on Saturday mornings at Pattonvile High School.  Classes are at 9:15am and at 9:45am. Classes are 30 minutes. Summer lesson times will be determined in the spring, but are typically on weeknights.

Lessons are for swimmers age 3 and older and have an average class size of one instructor per four swimmers. FAST offers swim lessons on a monthly tuition-based program. The current month’s tuition will be pro-rated if necessary based on your start date. Make-up classes are not offered. FAST will only refund for a class that we have to cancel due to pool availability and schedule needs for Pattonville High School that is already outside of our planned Saturday's off due to swim meet needs for our instructors.

The monthly fee for lessons is $95 for a full month with no cancellations.  All lesson fees must be paid by credit card.  Credit cards will be run on the first of each month via autopay.  If your credit card is declined, you will be notified that your child cannot participate in lessons until the balance is paid There is no credit card processing fee.

To the best of our ability we list all no-class days prior to the start of each month.  There will be times when we have to cancel swim lessons last minute due to inclement weather or facility maintenance.  No class dates will be updated in this section above. Please check this page regularly. If a cancellation happens after billing has occurred on the first of the month, a credit or refund will be issued for that missed class.
