Patriots Dominate at the Hawks Trials & Finals Meet

We have come to expect our athletes to perform well at meets but their explosion this past weekend, at the Hawks Trials & Finals meet, was simply stunning. It not only caught the attention or their families and coaches but swimmers, parents, and coaches of the opposing teams commented and congratulated all through the weekend.

The Numbers were massive.......333 Personal Best Times, 208 Silver Qualifying Swims, 55 Junior Olympic Qualifying Swims, 39 Zone Trial Qualifying Swims, 8 Senior Met Qualifying Swims, 27 Peekskill Records Broken, 2 Beacon Records Broken, 11 Patriot Team Records Broken and 40 of our 49 swimmers who are 11 and older, qualified for Finals Competition.  Our 10 & Unders were completely dominant. 

Although we are recognizing the following swimmers for specific accomplishments, EVERY Patriot Swimmer should be extremely proud that their efforts contributed to increasing the impact and prestige or our team!  A heartfelt thanks to all the parents who helped out by timing - many of you staying well beyond the finish time of your own swimmers.
