Summer Break Begins
As we head into our summer break, we'd like to wish our Junior Olympics and Zones swimmers the best of luck for a great meet. We'd also like to express our deepest gratitude towards our graduating seniors, for their dedication and loyalty to the Patriot Swim Team, their years of hard work and their excellence and success in the sport.
Our swimmers had an amazing year, qualifying for all levels of championships from Age Groups through Junior Nationals. They also attracted wide notice for their performances at Harvard and Hawks trials and finals. Throughout the year they rewrote their own personal records on a meet to meet basis and completely rewrote Team records many times over, a truly remarkable achievement.
We have the best parents in the sport and want to thank them for all of their hard work and dedication in supporting the team and creating such wonderful opportunities for the kids. In addition to all the time spent driving to practices and meets and all the time spent sitting around bleachers, our parents contributed countless work hours making our meets successful and participated in fundraising efforts that make it possible to bring a high quality program for an affordable price. A special thanks to parents who organized fundraisers, helped in design and assisted in the administation of the team and events.
Over the next two weeks, we will begin updating the web site in preparation for the 2012-2013 season. Where we can, we will put a label like.... " updated 7/27//12" so you can be able to tell what has been updated and what has not. Registration will open on August 15. Beacon practices will begin Sept 6. Peekskill practices will begin Sept 10.
