Patriots Fabulous at Express Meet

If you weren't at this meet, you missed a huge opportunity to excel, as well as the pleasure of viewing an exposition of Excellence by our swimmers.

We had a small group of 40 swimmers that braved the distance and summer traffic, but their investment paid off in a huge way. That little group of swimmers amassed an amazing amount of quality swims. There were 186 new personal bests, 5 Senior Met Qualifying Swims, 4 Zone team Qualifying Swims, 70 Junior Olympic Qualifying Swims, 27 Beacon Records Broken, 26 Peekskill Records Broken and 34 Patriot Records Broken.

Our swimmers earned over 6,000 Virtual Championship points bringing us to 63,660 and moving us to from 18th place to 14th place out of the 80 Metro Teams. We ended the Long Course last year with 55,000, so we are well ahead of last year, with 2 regular meets and 3 championship meets left to go.
