A Terrific Trials and Finals Meet
Wow, what a meet!! What a team spirit!! Our swimmers were absolutely amazing this past weekend at the Hawks Trials and Finals! It was truly a blast being on deck and celebrating every great performance. We are immensely proud to be a part of this fantastic swimming family.
Eighty-two of our swimmers participated in this funfest which produced 3 Sectional Cuts (Congratulations to Kendra Graham and Donna Lam!), 13 Senior Mets Cuts, 85 Zone Qualifying Swims, 83 JO’s times, and 432 Silvers’ swims, for a grand total of 616 Championship swims!
Our awesome swimmers achieved 243 personal best times this weekend; scores more including all the times that were improved twice: first during Prelims and again during Finals! These amazing swims produced 16 new Beacon records, 24 new Peekskill records, and 20 new Patriot Records, for a total of 60 New Team Records! Congratulations to our talented record-breakers!!
