IMXtremely Impressive Results

Updated Feb 5, 2014

Participating in the IM Xtreme Games at the University of Maryland is quickly becoming a treasured tradition for our team. Held at this huge and highly impressive venue, the IMX Games is run as a Championship meet for the entire Northeast region. Last year, almost 1000 swimmers participated in these games. This year, the number had grown to 1228 swimmers, which makes this the largest IMX meet ever held!

Thirteen LSC’s participated in these games: Adirondack, Allegheny Mountain, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Metropolitan, Middle Atlantic, New England, New Jersey, Niagara, Potomac Valley, Virginia, and West Virginia.       62 Teams were represented, and we are thrilled to announce that the Patriot Swim Team – MR placed 17th in the combined Team Scores! We are immensely proud of each and every one of our eighteen swimmers who all contributed points to make this happen!!

Furthermore, we proudly announce that three!!! of our swimmers placed in the Top-16 within their age-group, earning high point awards in the process: Please join us in congratulating Steve Holan for placing 5th in the 9-year-old Boys age group; Miya Vitale for her 11th place in the 10-year-old Girls age group, and Kaitlyn Quezada for placing 11th in the 12-year-old Girls age group!!!
