Electric Zones

We are very proud to say that this was our best Zone Team Qualifying meet to date. 26 Patriot swimmers participated in the meet, and 5 of our swimmers made the Eastern Zone Championship Team! Congratulations to Jillian Cudney, Kaitlyn Quezada, Gio Rizzo, Addy Rutkoske, and Miya Vitale!!

A big Congrats! also to Addy Rutkoske who made a Sectional cut in the 100 Breast, and will be joining Kendra Graham and Donna Lam at the Speedo Sectionals!

There were 114 Championship swims in the Patriots’ collective wake at the ZQ’s; 51 of these were Best Times! Our Team Records have yet again been massively edited. 16 Beacon Records, 9 Peekskill Records, and 18 PATS Records were broken, for a total of 43 New Team Records! Way to go!!

Our swimming family suffered an immeasurable loss last week. Supported by love from family members by blood and water alike, one of our young swimmers found the strength to swim in honor of her father as he watched with joy and love from above.

“Grief is like the ocean; it comes on waves ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim.”
