**UPDATE** PATS May LC Meet: our Swimmers confirm a Bull Market
What a great kick-off to the 2014 LC season! Seventy-three of our athletes participated in our first Long Course meet at Lehman College over the weekend. We would like to welcome our new swimmers to the family; it was great having you on deck with us. Congratulations to all who participated in their first Long Course Meters meet! We are really excited to see how all our swimmers progress and reach their individual goals for the season.
A big Thank You go out to all our parents who donated their time, effort, and talents to make our first hosted LC meet of the season such a big success! A special thanks to the parents who worked the Snack Bar. With the Basketball tournament going on at the same time as our meet, our snack bar volunteers were absolutely swamped but did an amazing job of serving everyone, completely selling out all but a handful of sodas.
Our swimmers didn’t waste any time qualifying for Championships! 5 of our athletes already made LC Zones cuts: Congratulations to Jillian Cudney, Kendra Graham, Jonathan Nunez, Kaitlyn Quezada, and Giovanni Rizzo for their 13 Qualifying swims!
The new JO and Senior Mets standards for the 2014 LC season are not yet available; we will update this news item when the new Time Standards are posted.

Our LC Record-books got a massive overhaul after our opening meet: 36 new Beacon records were set, 17 Peekskill records, and 27 Patriot records, for a grand total of 80 new Team Records! Way to go, Patriot swimmers!!
