Our Sensational Six at Zones

Our Sensational Six made us all proud as they represented the Patriots under the Metropolitan umbrella at the 2014 LC Eastern Zones Championships in Richmond, VA! Please join us in congratulating Jillian Cudney, Kendra Graham, Hunter Jackson, Thomas McCaffrey, Jonathan Nunez, and Lauren Siegel.

As our Zones swimmers closed out a fantastic season, they punctuated their already impressive accomplishments with some superb swims that resulted in 11 new Beacon records, 2 new Peekskill records, and 12 new Patriot records, for a total of 25 new Team Records! Congratulations to our swimmers, we hope you had as much fun reaching your goals this season as we did watching you surpass them!

A special Congrats! to Jillian Cudney who attained her first Super Sectional cut in the 50 Meter Free with the unbelievable time of 28.32L!! To reach this goal at the age of 12 is quite an achievement, and we applaud her determination. Jillian was also fortunate enough to anchor Metro’s 11-12 Girls A-Relay that set a new Zone Championship Record in the 200 Medley Relay! Well done!!!

Our Patriot Swimmers have had an absolutely awesome year. It has been immensely rewarding to see our athletes’ individual improvements and achievements as well as marvel in our Team’s continued rise through the ranks within the Virtual Club Championship. It is with pride we note that the Patriots are well represented within Metro’s Top-25 rankings. We can’t wait to see what next year will bring, and we are welcoming all our new members to the Patriot Family.
