| Group 3 Advanced Beginner | For swimmers who have graduated from Group 4 Introduction and training in stroke and competitive techniques These swimmers are expected to handle 6 hours of training per week |

| Group 2 Junior | This is a more competitive group of swimmers who have graduated from Group 3 These swimmers are able to handle 10 hours of training per week Advanced instruction and training in stroke and competitive techniques Emphasis is placed on individual stroke technique, increasing stamina and speed Dryland training |
5 days per week for 2 hours 4 days minimum attendance required Dryland and swimming at practice |
| Group 1 Senior | This group is made up of Varsity level swimmers Intense, high level training for the more advanced swimmer Goals include competition at local, regional and national levels Success at this level comes from the focus and drive of the individual |
