Welcome to the Minnetonka Swim Club Volunteering Page!

The club typically hosts 5-7 meets annually, offering numerous opportunities for active engagement. Although there is no formal requirement for volunteer hours within the club, a modest commitment of just 10 hours per family can significantly contribute to the successful execution of our exceptional events.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION MATTERS! It necessitates over 2,000 volunteer hours to proficiently manage our meets throughout the Short Course Season—quite a remarkable undertaking. You'll make a stylish statement in your complimentary volunteer t-shirt. How cool is that? Indulge in a culinary experience! Prioritize your comfort! Escape the discomfort of hard, hot, and crowded bleachers. Ah, the relief! Expect enjoyment! Become an integral part of our vibrant volunteer community. Your children will derive immense joy from witnessing your active involvement, and you will undoubtedly relish being an essential participant in these endeavors. Let's celebrate the fun together!

Volunteering Commitment

When registering, each family agrees to our Volunteer/Hospitality Agreement. The expectation for each family for volunteering during the 2023-2024 Short Course season is a minimum of 10 hours per family and many will far exceed that number.  We believe that our club’s philosophy for volunteering in its true sense (no buy out / no penalties) provides our volunteers, athletes and guests the best experience possible.

To help optimize our volunteer efforts, we will be including a $25 charge per family with registration to fund our hosted meet hospitality items so no donated food is necessary.
