Crystal Coast Aquatics Foundation
The Crystal Coast Aquatics Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to strengthening aquatics across Eastern North Carolina. Formed by parents, coaches, and community members, our mission is to ensure that everyone—regardless of age, background, or financial means—has access to safe, supportive, and sustainable aquatic opportunities.
What We Do
- Access & Outreach – We work to expand opportunities to aquatics facilities and provide vital water safety instruction and awareness throughout the region.
- Financial Assistance – We proudly support families in Eastern NC and military families who need help covering the costs of aquatic programs, making sure financial barriers never keep a child from the water.
- Community Pool Operations – The Foundation operates the Crystal Coast Community Pool in Beaufort, NC—the only indoor pool in Eastern Carteret County we provide year-round access for:
- Lap swimming and water aerobics
- Senior aquatic fitness programs
- Military, law enforcement, and first responder training
- Local dive companies who rely on the facility for professional preparation and training
Why It Matters
Water safety saves lives. Access to aquatic facilities strengthens health, builds confidence, and provides essential training for those who serve our community. By keeping the Crystal Coast Community Pool open and supporting local families, we ensure that aquatics remain a lifeline and opportunity for generations to come.
How You Can Help
Your support makes all the difference. A donation of $50 helps a child access water safety instruction, $200 provides a month of swim programming for a family in need, and $1000 helps sustain the Crystal Coast Community Pool as a resource for the entire region.
If you would like to join us in making aquatics accessible and safe for all, please consider making a donation today. Together, we can keep our community strong—one swim at a time.
