Weekly Update
Hello JAWS Swimmers and Families!!
I hope that everyone had a great weekend so far!! I wanted to get our weekly email out to everyone for your review. Please look over this email and let me know if you have any questions.
Practice Schedule:
This is our normal practice schedule for each week. Please remember that the Private School/ Early Dismissal Group, Jr Jaws and Bronze are all M/W or T/Th. Your child must attend the practices that they are signed up for each week.
The coaches will be at check point to meet your swimmers 15 minutes prior to your swimmers practice beginning. Please use the checkpoint entrance when you drop off your swimmers for practice.
ED/HS - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
3:15pm – 4:00pm

Jr. Jaws - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
4:15pm – 5:00pm
Indoor Pool
Bronze - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
5:00pm – 6:00pm

Swim Meet Schedule:
We finished up our Polar Bear Swim League season. We will have two meet later in the spring session. We will have those dates up on our team website soon.
Team Website:
The team website has been updated and will be a very useful source for team information and also a great way to help you stay plugged in with your swimmer and the team activities. You will need to have your user login and password to have full access to your team account.
New swim families will receive a login email this evening with instructions on how to access your account on our team website.
Returning families should already have their login info but if you don’t please let me know and I can resend it to you.

It can also be found by simply searching LJCC Jaws Team Unify on any standard search engine.
OnDeck Parent App:
When you are all set up on our team website, you will also have access to the Team Unify app that goes along with it. It’s called OnDeck Parent and is available for both IPhone and Android devices. Just simply search for the app by name and then download it. You will then sign in using the same login and password that you use for the team website. This will allow you to access many of the same features as the website but from the convenience of your smart phone!
Practice Change Notifications:
Practice can change quickly and at the last minute due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. We want to make sure that we communicate these changes as quickly and as effectively as we can. We use the Remind App to help us do this during the season. There is a very simple way to get signed up for our notification app. You just need to text this message “@ljccjaw" to the number 81010. This is a new group for this season so you will need to join even if you’re a returning family.
Team Swim Suits and Suit Fitting:
We are working on scheduling a suit fitting for our new families or for those who missed the last fitting. We will send out that date once it is set.
Spring Session Registration:
We are starting our fifth week of the Spring Session. We are very near compacity for our team. Everyone will want to make sure that they register for the spring session as soon as possible if you haven't already. Please make sure you register your swimmer soon!!
