Each year Raleigh Swimming Association (RSA) participates in a USA Swimming approved fundraiser called Swim-A-Thon, an event that brings our athletes and families together for a swimming event to benefit RSA, the USA Swimming Foundation, and the Boys and Girls Clubs serving Wake County, NC.

As a 501c(3)non-profit organization, our ability to deliver exceptional aquatic programming, including outreach, is dependent upon more than the monthly dues that we charge our swim team families and the fees we charge our lesson participants. To that end, we hope to raise $50,000 through our Swim-A-Thon this year to purchase items to augment our programming, including new backstroke flags for Sunset, new backstroke flags for the Deep and Instructional pools at Sonner, and an underwater camera system for Sunset and Sonner.

This event is our athletes' opportunity to recognize the importance swimming plays in their lives by participating in a vitally important component of RSA's fundraising efforts. We issued a challenge to each of our athletes to raise $125.00 for Splash Wars Episode 66, 2026’s Swim-A-Thon. Our goals are to build team unity, foster teamwork and have fun while fundraising to support enhanced programming.

Please consider supporting these young people in raising funds to support RSA’s mission to provide affordable, exceptional aquatic programming tailored to the needs of the individual. At RSA, we are more than just a swim team. Our organization is a place where swimming is the medium through which swimmers are molded, friendships are fostered, character is nurtured and dreams come true.
