NC Age Group Champ Wrap Up

Congratulations to all our swimmers who competed at the 2020 NC Age Group Championship this past weekend in Greensboro, NC. WOW took 14th place in the overall team standings with 455.5 points. Over the course of the weekend, WOW swimmers broke four individual team records and five relay team records. Record breaking performances below:

 

Kelsey Stuck (11-12 Girls): 50 Backstroke

Clem Camacho (11-12 Boys): 200 Butterfly, 200 Breaststroke, 400 IM

11-12 Boys 400 Medley Relay: Lawson Brown, Maxwell Hawthorne, Clem Camacho, Will House

11-12 Boys 400 Freestyle Relay: Lawson Brown, Maxwell Hawthorne, Will House, Clem Camacho

13-14 Girls 400 Medley Relay: Madi Joy, Hailey Weigand, Tabitha Lac, Caroline Furbay

13-14 Boys 200 Medley Relay: Evan Stuck, Lane Durham, Ryan Langtry, Sean Setzer

Maxwell Hawthorne (11-12 Boys): 10th, 50 Breast; 14th, 50 Fly

Will House (11-12 Boys): 16th, 500 Free

Hance Mayo (10 & Under Boys): 5th, 100 Back; 7th, 50 Fly; 8th, 50 Back

Behrett Petroff (10 & Under Boys): 7th, 50 Breast

In addition to the team records and scoring swims, we had three WOW swimmers earn their "Golden Ticket" to attend the NC Swimming Select Camp being held in April by placing in the Top 5 in an individual event: Clem Camacho, Hance Mayo, and Kelsey Stuck.
